Bob Lowery
Biography
Bob Lowery grew up in Abington, PA, near Philadelphia. He began performing in clubs around the area, teaming up with singer/songwriter Chris Callas and drummer Tom Toxell. They gradually moved to performing original material, and when Callas' departure split the group, Lowery moved to New York to pursue a solo career. Eventually, he was approached by Paul Boddy, founder of Cayman Records, and became the label's flagship artist with the release of his debut album and Cayman's initial offering, Yellow Light, in May 2000. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
