Biography
Mexican Pepe Mogt started getting involved in the local techno-pop music scene while participating in a band called Artefakto. Inspired by a traditional Mexican song performed by a sinaloense band at a wedding, the DJ/producer began experimenting with norteño music beats and electronica sounds, joining Melo Ruiz and orthodontist/DJ Ramón Amor Amezcua, aka Bostich, in a project called Fussible. Fono, released by Opción Sonica in 1999, brought forward a new style named nor-tec, later made popular with a single titled Polaris. Fussible became the starting point for the hybrid multicultural Nortec Collective. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
