Biography
Often described as the Polish Metallica, Hunter was formed in 1985 in the Masurian Lake District city of Szczytno, but it would be a decade before the band would release their debut album. Employing a hard-hitting blend of thrash and power metal, the group took their name from the song "Die Hard the Hunter" by Def Leppard. Hunter issued their debut album, Requiem, in 1995, followed by Medeis (2003), T.E.L.I... (2005), Hellwood (2009), Królestwo (2012), and Imperium (2013), the latter two of which went gold. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
