Biography
A member of the English Corfe's, musicians from Winchester. Joseph served in Salisbury as an assitant to the organist and became the organist in Salisbury from 1792 until 1804. A noted singer and teacher he published "A Treatise on Singing," "The Beauties of Handel," and "Beauties of Purcell" among other works.
