Sukihana was born Destiny Henderson in 1991. She was born in Wilmington, Delaware, but mostly grew up in Atlanta. By the middle of the 2010s, she'd drawn a large social media following and started posting videos and original songs by 2016. Her 2017 track "Kodak Snack" was her first music to break through, and she followed up with several singles and videos over the next few years. The majority of Sukihana's material tended towards sexually explicit content or aggressive, challenging lyricism. After Sukihana reached millions of viewers through a guest appearance on Cuban Doll's 2018 single "Drug Dealer," Cuban Doll returned the favor the next year by contributing a feature to Sukihana's "Hoodrat" single. In 2020, Sukihana signed on to appear in the third season of Love & Hip Hop, and simultaneously began releasing new songs in advance of her debut mixtape, Wolf Pussy. The mixtape was released in September of that year. ~ Fred Thomas, Rovi
