Talent
Biography
Like their protégé R. Kelly, Talent is an R&B group steeped in the sounds of gospel. The Kansas-city trio caught Kelly's attention after singing a rendition of Boyz II Men's "End of the Road" on the pager of a staff member at Kelly's Rockland Records. The group then went to Chicago to work with Kelly. At first, they thought they would be in Chicago for two weeks, but they ended up staying two years. The end result was their debut album Bull's Eye, a record filled with heartfelt harmonies that will remind listeners of Boyz II Men. In addition to their recording careers, some members of the group have also written songs for other artists. Ernest Dixon has written Profyle's hit single "Liar" and Joe's hit "Stutter." ~ Jon Azpiri, Rovi
