A veteran of Tampa's indie rap scene who hits like the next generation's Trick Daddy, Tom G rapped his way through school, but always thought professional football would be his career. While attending Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, his freestyle performances earned him a loyal local following, and soon sports were on the backburner. He dropped the Man of the Hour mixtape, then the Marked Money album in 2005, but his big hit came three years later when "City Boy wit It" dropped and became a Florida club favorite. In 2009, he released the "Problems" single with the Super Daves, a production team that also worked on his first Skroll Muzik mixtape. Skroll had become a prolific series by 2013 when Skroll Muzik 8 dropped, hosted by DJ Smallz and Trap-A-Holics. Live from da Ghetto: Skroll Muzik, Vol. 10 arrived in 2015 with Bigga Rankin as host.
