Raised on the small Finnish island of Suomenlinna, Alexandra Lehti became interested in music at a young age. By her teens, she was attending Tölö Specialiseringsgymnasium, a music high school in nearby Helsinki. After school, she relocated to Berlin full-time to launch her career. In 2017, she independently released her debut singles as Lxandra, "Flicker" and "Hush Hush Baby." The following year, she recorded a cover of U2's "Pride (In the Name of Love)" for a trailer for the Amazon series The Man in the High Castle and issued the original song "Dig Deep," her major-label debut. That track as well as "Flicker" and the fan-favorite "Swimming Pools" were included on the EP Another Lesson Learned, which saw release on Vertigo Berlin in October 2019. In June 2021, Lxandra returned with her full-length debut, the atmospheric Careful What I Dream Of, which she recorded in Los Angeles. ~ Matt Collar, Rovi
