Toronto-based artist Realestk was 17 when he began releasing music. His hypnotic and wounded R&B style continued the same introspective tones as Drake and the Weeknd, but he added both his own lonely lyrical perspectives and more trap-leaning production to the mix. He was scolded by a teacher for editing the video for his debut track "WFM" during class, but once released, the song debuted in the Billboard Top 100 and began doing streaming numbers in the multi-millions. Realestk quickly inked a deal with Columbia and began working with a management team while releasing new songs throughout the rest of 2021. Tracks like "Toxic," "Confessions," and "Only You" followed, and in 2022 Realestk offered up the especially lovesick ballad "Love Me." ~ TiVo Staff, Rovi
