Photograph of someone that i used to know
But I guess it must be back a while
Something's familiar in the way he stands
But I can't seem to place the smile
It's funny what a photograph can do
It's seems to strip away the years
I think I almost could recall his name
If I could see him through my tears

How could the world have seems so easy then
That he could smile that way
The photograph brings back a memory
Of how me use to laugh and say
That life is filled with love and promises
And we can make it what we will
But every year has seen love fade way
And every promise unfulfilled

And now I sit here in my lonely room
The four walls closing in on me
And in my hands a dusty photograph
