The App allows iPhone users to identify music that they hear from a speaker – in as little as five seconds! It also works if users sing or hum the tune, or say or type the title or artist. The industry-leading speed comes from sub-second processing in Melodis’ proprietary Sound2Sound Search Science. SoundHound is the new name for version 3.0 of the Midomi application for iPhone, and existing users will receive the upgrade free of charge.
