SAN JOSE, California – September 21, 2011 – SoundHound, the revolutionary sound search company, today launched a major update to the music search and discovery applications SoundHound and SoundHound Infinity. The update includes LiveLyrics and enhanced sharing, which make sharing music discovery moments on-the-go to Facebook and Twitter faster than ever.
Users will experience LiveLyrics through SoundHound's blazing fast music recognition, which will identify any part of a song playing and then show moving lyrics automatically aligned to that song. This feature is now available for users of Android devices in the United States and Canada who update to SoundHound 2.7.4.
The enhanced sharing features include the ability to personalize the share message and simultaneously post to both Facebook and Twitter. Users can also instantly and seamlessly share newly discovered songs through an auto-share option.
