Capturing Music Moments Is Now Seamless with SoundHound Version 4.1 and iCloud
SAN JOSE, California – October 13, 2011 – SoundHound Inc., the revolutionary sound search company, today announced the release of SoundHound version 4.1 with support for iOS 5. The update takes advantage of iCloud, giving users automatic, wireless syncing of music recognition and search history. Additionally, the company is enhancing LiveLyrics with a beautiful full-screen display of lyrics that move in time with the music.
New with SoundHound 4.1:
- iCloud for SoundHound History. In 4.1 a user's search history is effortlessly merged across all iOS devices. SoundHound users can now see the music they've identified appear on all their History lists, making it easy to capture new music on-the-go with the ability to enjoy it later on any of their devices.
- Full-Screen LiveLyrics. SoundHound LiveLyrics is now viewable in a large, full screen mode on iOS. LiveLyrics allows users to see lyrics in real time with music they hear playing as well as music they own on their devices. Simply go to landscape mode, or tap the "expand" button on the LiveLyrics box, to see big, beautiful LiveLyrics in real time with the music.
- Get Social, Engage and Share. Other new features include in-app settings, allowing users to set SoundHound to 'listen' on start-up, and an easier opt-in to auto-share newly discovered songs. New Facebook and Twitter badges make following artists even easier.
