Biography
Mixing Southern and East Coast styles, hardcore rapper Dirti Diana was born and raised in the Bronx but launched her career out of Atlanta. Raised on both the smooth sounds of Lauryn Hill and the hardcore songs of Onyx, Diana cut demos around New York and signed with MBK Management. Tracks with Bad Boy's King Los and Roc-A-Fella's Uncle Murda came next, then the MC moved to Atlanta and announced her arrival with a self-titled 2012 mixtape. The G'd Up mixtape followed in 2013, and 2014 saw the release of RIP to the Competition, a mixtape hosted by DJ Scream. An appearance on the reality television show Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta preceded her 2016 singles "Trending" and "What Up Doe." ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
