An Australian electronic pop duo, Lastlings emerged in the late 2010s with a sound steeped in icy electronica and sumptuous and cinematic dance-pop. Comprised of siblings Amy and Josh Dowdle, the group issued their debut album, First Contact, in 2020.

Originating in Gold Coast, Queensland, Lastlings formed in 2015 and released their debut EP, Unreality, the following year. Citing influences like Jamie xx and Nicolas Jaar, the siblings issued a second EP, Verses, in 2017, followed by a nationwide tour with Aussie alt-dance crew Rüfüs Du Sol.
