Singer and producer Deaton Chris Anthony is a performer known for his whimsical blend of soul, house, and '80s-style electro-pop. He first broke through with 2019's "Racecar" featuring Clairo, which paved the way for his debut BO Y. His sophomore album, Sid the Kid, arrived in 2022.

Born Andrew Lovgren, Anthony grew up in Olathe, Kansas. He eventually relocated to Los Angeles where he launched his music career. In 2019, he garnered buzz with his hooky and atmospheric single "Racecar," featuring Clairo and Coco Clair Clair. That same year the track was included on his debut album, BO Y. He followed with the 2020 EP Boogy Woogy. A second full-length, Sid the Kid, arrived in 2022 featuring guest spots from Beabadoobee, Benee, and Mac DeMarco.
