Latin pop artist, producer, and actor Benny Ibarra was born in Mexico City in 1970 to a family of artists. Ibarra spent several years performing alongside future superstars like Thalía and Paulina Rubio in the influential youth pop group Timbiriche before embarking on a successful solo career in 1992.
