Growing up in the Netherlands, Eyelar took inspiration from artists like Madonna, Oasis, and Paramore. Relocating to London, she signed with 2-Tone Entertainment and spent several years learning her craft as a vocalist in the electronic community and beginning to write her own songs. "Breakfast," a 2018 track with U.K. rapper Yxng Bane, served as her first official artist collaboration, and she spent the following year continuing to raise her profile. Her 2019 collaboration with Kid Brunswick, "Fxck You Cause You Were the One," introduced her gritty, grunge-inspired pop approach, which she further developed on her follow-up solo single, "Voices." After lending her voice to Disciples' hit track "All Mine," Eyelar joined back up with Kid Brunswick that October for the soaring, emo-pop-driven "Good 2 U." ~ Timothy Monger, Rovi
