A native of Hildesheim in Lower Saxony, Germany, Steve Brian -- born Stefan Brünig -- started out on the Euphonic label with a batch of singles created with Markus Pilar under the alias Marksun Brian (2005-2008). As a solo producer, Brian debuted on Euphonic with the characteristically joyous "Yaya" (2009) and soon followed up with Calera (2010), his lone production album for nearly a decade. Brian has since released an assortment of additional EPs for Euphonic, Lange, and Enhanced Progressive, among other labels, with occasional diversions under pseudonyms such as Agulo, Cabriolet Paris, and Michel Balog. As a remix producer, Brian has been even more prolific. Allure's "Stay Forever" (2012), Alex M.O.R.P.H.'s "From the Universe with Love" (2012), and Mike Oldfield's "Moonlight Shadow" (2013) account for some of his most significant commissioned work. Brian has concurrently expanded his discography of original material featuring vocalists with "Wait for Me" (featuring Christian Carmaco) and "In Your Eyes" (featuring Eric Lumiere), acclaimed singles that led to his second proper album, Wanderlust (2018). ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
