Biography
A rapper and social media personality, Danielle Bregoli, aka Bhad Bhabie, is known for her swaggering and irreverent style. Initially known as the "Cash me outside girl," Bregoli rose to viral fame after appearing on a 2016 episode of the Dr. Phil talk show out of which her catchphrase ("Cash me outside, how bou' dah?") became an internet meme. As Bhad Bhabie, she parlayed the attention into a hip-hop career, hitting the Billboard Hot 100 with the song "These Heaux" and releasing her 2018 mixtape 15. Tracks followed, including 2019's "Bestie" with Kodak Black and Megan Thee Stallion and 2020's "Do It Like Me." In 2021, Bhabie launched her own Bhad Music with the single "Miss Understood."

Born in 2003 in Boynton Beach, Florida, Danielle Bregoli was primarily raised by her mother after her parents separated when she was an infant. She was just 13 years old when she appeared with her mother as a guest on a troubled teen episode of the Dr. Phil talk show. Facing an antagonistic audience, she challenged them to settle the score outside the studio, saying "Catch me outside, how about that?" However, her accent made it sound like "Cash me outside, how bou' dah?" A video of her appearance went viral in early 2017, quickly becoming a popular meme and earning her the moniker of the "Cash me outside girl." As her notoriety grew, she began rapping, appearing on remixes of songs by young trap rappers like Kodak Black, Tee Grizzley, and Lil Yachty. In August 2017, she issued "These Heaux," her debut single as Bhad Bhabie. The song broke her onto the Billboard Hot 100, making Bregoli the youngest female rap debut in chart history. Soon after, she signed with Atlantic Records.

Bregoli's first output for the label arrived late in the year with "Whachu Know" and "I Got It." Another single, the gold-certified "Hi Bich," was remixed with YBN Nahmir, Rich the Kid, and Asian Doll. In March 2018, she released "Gucci Flip Flops" with Lil Yachty, weeks before embarking on a tour. "Trust Me" with Ty Dolla $ign and "Yung and Bhad" with City Girls followed that summer, just before the release of her debut mixtape, 15. She returned in 2019 with the single "Bestie," which featured Kodak Black. Citing childhood trauma and prescription drug addiction, Bregoli entered a month-long rehabilitation program in June 2020. Following her release, she returned with the non-album track "Do It Like Me." She also launched her own Bhad Music label, releasing more non-album tracks like 2021's "Miss Understood," which reached number eight on Billboard's Digital Songs chart. ~ Matt Collar & Neil Z.
