Biography
Ted Bluechel Jr. started out in professional music as a guitarist and singer, and was immersed in the folk revival of the early '60s. He did a stint as a member of the Cherry Hill Singers before switching to drums. As the drummer for the Association from 1965 onward, he also sang harmonies and backup -- although because the band tended to use studio musicians for most of the instrumental parts on its recordings, his playing can really best be heard on the group's live album. Bluechel left the Association permanently in 1984. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
