SEB moved around a lot in early life but grew up primarily in Chicago before moving to New York for college. In New York he interned at Electric Lady studios, and after that immersion in the music industry, he relocated to Los Angeles to work on music of his own. He released his debut single "Boys Don't Cry" in 2020, establishing a listenable kind of lo-fi production approach and a songwriting style that blurred genre lines. He released several other songs in 2020 and the next year experienced a massive jumpstart in exposure with his single "seaside_demo." The song was streamed tens of millions of times on its own, as well as covering massive ground as part of a Harry Styles mashup. 2021 also saw SEB release the songs "They Don't Like Me" and "Coney Island" before collecting these tracks and several others as EP release IT'S OKAY, WE'RE DREAMING in July of 2021. SEB recorded, engineered, sang, and played all instruments on the release. ~ Fred Thomas, Rovi
