Biography
Infinite Coles is an alternative R&B artist with a tender, vulnerable, and expressive voice. The singer and songwriter -- also a model, dancer, and actor -- grew up listening to classic soul and was swarmed by music, specifically hip-hop, as the son of Ghostface Killah. Coincidentally, Infinite first performed at the age of 14 during a Christmas party at the New Jersey headquarters of Wu-Tang Clan. His music career began in earnest a few years later. In 2016, he was featured on multiple tracks by F. Virtue. The following year, he could be heard on Dick Van Dick's "Phonetage" but gained more attention when he appeared on Close But Not Quite, the debut from Richard Russell's Everything Is Recorded project. Infinite co-wrote and fronted the EP's "D'elusion," a track that also featured associate Mela Murder and Scritti Politti's Green Gartside. Early in 2018, Infinite was showcased on the Everything Is Recorded album, placed front and center on the similarly sorrow-tinged "Bloodshot Red Eyes," "Be My Friend," and "Purify," the last of which featured keyboard accompaniment from Peter Gabriel. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
