Isaiah Templeton touched the upper half of Billboard's Gospel Albums chart in 2014 with Roll in the Dirt, his debut full-length, and has since continued to work with fellow contemporary gospel artists while serving as a worship leader in Charlotte, North Carolina. He resumed solo output in 2018 with "Everything Will Be Alright," another showcase for his soaring voice.

Originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, Templeton was raised primarily in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from college locally at Wright State University. He got his start performing and recording with the likes of Mark T. Jackson, Rodney Posey, and Pastor R.A. Vernon, as well as Kommitted Music Group and One Voice, and in 2014 debuted on his own with the self-released Roll in the Dirt. The album peaked on Billboard Gospel Albums at number 25 that September, coincidentally the same week a release by another supporter, Smokie Norful, was at the top of the chart. Following collaborations with Terrence J.
