Sheri Jones-Moffett is best known for her vocal on the gospel hit "Encourage Yourself" with Donald Lawrence's Tri-City Singers in the 1990s. Lawrence served as a sort of mentor to the young singer, who eventually moved on to partner with Ted Wynn in the gospel duo Ted Sheri, who released two highly praised albums, The Healing Starts Right There and Celebrate.
