A kind of cross between frat rock and garage rock, the Centurys, who certainly looked a lot more like greasers than the Rolling Stones, had a big local hit in their neck of the Pennsylvania woods with Hard Times on Swan Records. Collectors of '60s garage rock, however, esteem them mostly for raw demos that were issued in the '80s.
