Ambjaay, a Los Angeles-based rapper with a calm yet forceful flow, broke through in 2019 with his catchy, bilingual hit "Uno."

Originating from the Watts neighborhood, Ambjaay released his first song, "Nonstop," in August 2018. Following a regional hit called "Shit Talker," an EP titled It Cost to Live Like This appeared in February 2019. The cumbia-influenced track "Uno" became a viral hit, as fans began creating dance videos based around the song.
