Gabrielle Drake is known within Britain as an accomplished actress, particularly for her work on several television series, though she's also appeared in films and theatrical productions. Internationally, however, she might be best known as the older sister of British folk-rock singer/songwriter Nick Drake, who has amassed a large cult since his death in 1974. Gabrielle Drake has been involved in the stewardship of her brother's legacy by contributing to posthumous recording and film releases of Nick's material. She also, on a home tape Nick recorded shortly before beginning his official recording career, performed a duet with him on a cover of the folk song All My Trials.
