Tacoma, Washington-based R&B artist Eric Keith (aka Blakk Soul) established himself as a producer and backing vocalist, working with artists such as Playboi Carti, Dr. Dre, Macklemore, and Anderson .Paak. He went on to form a solo career, fusing R&B, hip hop and soul.

His debut EP, 2014's Holiday Jukin, was a collaborative effort with Rapper Big Pooh; it wasn't until 2017 that his first proper solo EP, Never See, was released.
