I've been reading a lot
'Cause my professors tell me to.
But I just lay in my bed most days past two.
I've got no cash to spare. Where went the good old days?
Now all I do is study, cry, and think about my grades.
Just another unfortunate college kid,
finding dimes that I've already spent,
craving food that makes me sick,
but if you asked me,
'man how's life been?'
I'm fine.
Sure year two has been a little rough,
But I'm making it through
I just wish my family called more than they do.
At least I still have my friends well the ones who stayed.
But if you read their minds, they'd probably say

'Cause these years are great.
So please don't get me wrong,
I love this place.
And I know I'll miss it when it's all said and done.
