High above the finely laid sand
The fire burning is the sun
You took a match out from your pocket

Late last night as the rain fell
Hard against the wall
I watched you laying bricks down
Placing them there to make a new wall

Only for a moment

We walked across the bramble
You pointed to the squirrel run
