Everything gone quiet
There's a stranger

I can feel the danger
I can taste it on the wind
There's nothing here
No bird song
There's no safety
Safety's gone

I notice no one looks me in the eye
They know it's coming and they know it's for me
Doesn't have a name I recognise
So I name it Gunslinger it could be
Don't know where it came from
What it wants or why it's picked me
But I know it carries danger
And that danger
That danger is for me

I see the gods smiling down at me
I hear the wind whispering my name
I sense the fear all around me
And it's not mine
No it's not mine

I'm not afraid
I welcome you
You're my friend
Until the end
