Biography
Dutch DJ and producer Max Krul, better known as Dante Klein, discovered his interest in music as a child, jamming around with his sister, initially banging pots and pans but eventually learning to play the piano. At the age of ten he managed to get hold of some DJ equipment, and his future was cast. Production software duly followed, and Klein went on to study music at the well-regarded Herman Brood Music Academy in his native Holland. He burst onto the deep house scene in 2015 with his Spinnin' Records debut Ertesuppe, a track which swiftly found itself being championed by Pete Tong and many others. A collaborative effort with fellow Dutchman Sam Feldt on Feels Like Home, as well as remixing Higher Place for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, propelled Klein to the forefront of the genre. His joint venture with the L.A.-based trio Cheat Codes brought about the single Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On), which was released in summer 2016 and rapidly became a firm summer favorite of clubbers worldwide. ~ Simon Spreyer, Rovi
