Faisal Ben Said was born in Rotterdam in 1990. Inspired by icons like Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, and Michael Jackson, he began singing and playing piano at a young age. FAIS' 2016 debut single, "Hey," a sunny dance-pop anthem with yearning lyrics, was produced by his friend Afrojack. The track reached the Top Ten on the Dutch charts and was one of the most played songs on the radio that year. "Used to Have It All," also with Afrojack, was also a platinum-certified radio hit. Aside from his own work, FAIS has stayed busy behind the scenes as a songwriter, penning hits such as Afrojack and David Guetta featuring Ester Dean's "Another Life," Afrojack and Luis Fonsi's "Wave Your Flag," and Hiroomi Tosaka's "Wasted Love," all from 2017. Solo single "Ask Me Tomorrow" appeared that year, and "Know You Better," another massive radio hit, arrived in 2018, as did "Make Me Do" and acoustic EP Reflection. He released "I Want You Now" in 2019 and returned with "Love You More" in 2021. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
