Born and raised in Houston, Jairmy started rapping as a young child, and at the age of 15, in 2016, he teamed with J Ward to record "Trapped Out," his first track. He was incarcerated within a couple years of that, but he wasted no time after he was released, issuing a batch of singles in 2018, followed the next year by Excuse My Absence, a full-length project featuring the Lil Baby collaboration "Chances Make Champions." Can't Rush the Vibe and GasGod arrived respectively in 2020 and 2021. Jairmy signed to the formidable 300 Entertainment the latter year. He made his label debut in May 2022 with "5 Years," and over the next few months previewed a forthcoming full-length with "Supercharge" (featuring Moneybagg Yo) and "Alaska." GasGod 2 arrived in September with Future featured on "On Me." ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
