Biography
The trio of Mark (guitar/vocals), George (bass), and Ian (drums) originally went under the name Triphammer upon their 1995 formation. But for the sake of legal purposes, the band eventually settled on Tucker while remaining with their tag of distorted emo. By 1998, Tucker had spent three years gigging around their native New York City before releasing a split EP with fellow New Yorkers Kung Pao. Resulting in the 1998 release of Trailer Pumpkin Fuse through Ismist Records, the band soon called it quits with Mark moving on to Tarantula-X and George forming Heroine Sheiks, while Ian joined Elvis '77. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
