Jill Stuart was the wife of the far more famous Chad Stuart, who did most of his recordings as half of British Invasion hitmakers Chad Jeremy. Chad Jill Stuart, however, made one rare single as a husband-wife duo for Columbia in 1966. The A-side was an orchestrated pop-folk-rock take on Peter, Paul Mary's The Cruel War; the B-side was a folkier cover of Bob Lind's I Can't Talk to You, on which the only instrumental accompaniment was acoustic guitar.
