Growing up, Mssingno knew that one day he wanted to produce music, a passion which he pursued for a few years for other artists. That changed in 2013, when his debut EP appeared on Goon Club Allstars. After causing an initial splash, he receded into the background, reappearing in 2015 when he signed to XL. From there his name kept surfacing, sometimes as a remix artist -- including remixes for Cashmere Cat and Shura -- and in other instances as a collaborator, including work with Katy B, Torey Lanez, and G-Eazy. His second EP, Fones, appeared on XL in 2016, demonstrating a more refined production style; the EP was joined later in the year by the release of a mixtape, M1 Personal Trainer. Off the back of those releases, Mssingno played several dates around the U.K., often alongside Evian Christ, Laurel Halo, and Actress. ~ Liam Martin, Rovi
